FAQ

What to Know About Working Together

  • Therapy can be helpful whether you are experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, perfectionism, maternal mental health concerns, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from support. Many clients come to therapy because they are tired of carrying everything alone and want a space to feel understood, supported, and more grounded in their everyday life.

  • My work blends evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic, mindful, and body-based approaches including nervous system regulation, yoga, meditation, movement, and parts-work therapy. I take a relational, whole-body approach to healing that focuses not only on insight, but also on practical tools, emotional processing, and helping clients feel safe and connected within themselves.

  • Yes to both. I offer in-person services in Chicago, IL and virtually throughout Illinois, Michigan, and Florida. Therapy, clinical supervision, and many mindfulness-based services can be offered virtually, allowing clients to access support from the comfort and privacy of their own space.

  • I accept select insurance carriers for psychotherapy services. I can also provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement depending on your insurance plan. Please reach out to discuss current insurance options and fees.

  • The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building connection and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, personal history, goals for treatment, and begin identifying what support may feel most helpful for you moving forward. There is no pressure to share everything immediately — therapy unfolds at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.

  • Private yoga and mindfulness sessions are designed for individuals, groups, or organizations looking to support stress reduction, nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, and mind-body connection. These sessions can be tailored to beginners, experienced practitioners, corporate wellness settings, or individuals seeking a more personalized and therapeutic approach to movement and mindfulness.
